Durable TPU leading edge bumpers
Developed exclusively for kite leading edges, this is a strong, stable, and exceptionally responsive material. Ultra HT reduces the weight of the leading edge and struts while boasting incredibly low elongation and response. A unique and proprietary coating process increases durability and performance unlike anything you have felt before.
Nano Ripstop is a 55 g/m2 material with a 3mm double rip stop pattern. This micro rip stop material in unison with a newly developed coating, has given us a 2X increase in the canopy’s tear strength. A smaller rip stop pattern increases the amount of “cells” in any given panel.
’The all new Apex bladders are not only 22% lighter than standard bladders, they are also through controlled elongation, able to work in harmony with UltraHT to increase response and speed of turning of the kite.
These durable TPU bumpers are strong, lightweight and durable. They crossover, protecting the canopy to LE sewing. A new manufacturing process helps with abrasion when the kite is resting on a hard surface.
The Sprint 3.0 inflation system increases air flow from leading edge to the strut. The new straight and angled valves allow for no kinking of the inflation tube. It's secure fit design also allows for easy maintenance.
Working alongside the Cabrinha International Big Air team we experimented many bridle options, but in the end the 7 point Nitro Apex bridle stood out as the best for kite control, reactivity and feel during regular jumps and kiteloops.
